The Driver ‘Who Killed My Daughter’ Should Be Dealt With – Ebony’s Father Demands Justice

Nana Opoku Kwarteng the father of the late dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns has dismissed claims that the driver in the middle of his daughter’s death has been charged.

He said this in a phone-in interview with Emmanuel Agyeman(Braa Emma) on Onua FM Anigye Mmre entertainment show. He added that the issue hasn’t been arranged before the court yet.

Over the weekend, some news outlets stated that the driver, Okoh Pinehas Chartey, had been charged with Ebony’s death.
“The case hasn’t yet gone to court, and I haven’t heard anything about it,” he stated.

He further claims that the motorist did not have a driver’s license at the time of the collision. However, no action has been taken.
Ebony Reigns was killed in a road accident on her way back from Sunyani to Accra after seeing her mother.

Franklina Yaa Nkansah Kuri, her assistant and longtime friend, and soldier Atsu Vondee were also killed in the tragedy. The driver was the only survivor of the incident. Ebony died just eight days before her twenty-first birthday.
