The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia earlier today commissioned the reconstructed Appiatse township.
Dr. Bawumia on behalf ofte. President Nana Akkufo-Addo thanked the Trustees, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, all other state actors & agencies and the general public who played roles in making it a reality.
On 21 January 2022, the Vice President visited Appiatse in the Western Region to empathise with the residents after an explosion destroyed the town completely.
“I assured the community that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would reconstruct the community and bring it back to life”, he said.
