John Dumelo, a Ghanaian actor and politician, has confirmed the death of his mother, Antoinette Ama Ampomah Dumelo.
In a social media post on August 16, 2023, he revealed that his mother had gently left the realm of the living, leaving behind beloved memories and a legacy of unflinching support.
In a touching letter on his official Facebook page, John Dumelo expressed his pain and loss. “My heart is broken,” he said. My beautiful mother died quietly yesterday… she was my staunchest supporter. Heaven has a new angel.”
Dumelo’s mother, a retired customs officer who will age 70 in 2022, led a life of dedication and commitment, both professionally and as a mother.
