This current action is part of an examination investigating the acquisition of state lands mentioned in the late CEO’s will.

Sir John’s alleged illicit acquisition of state property within the Achimota forest and the Sakumono Ramsar site prompted the Office of the Special Prosecutor to launch an investigation last week, according to a news release.

Several civil society organizations had petitioned the Special Prosecutor and the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to look into the state lands acquisition.
